YCN Piñata Challenge: 50 Piñatas will be sent to 50 different people, teams and studios internationally. Each has a unique mix of surprises inside relating to this year’s YCN Awards, and is of solid and sturdy build.

The challenge is to break open the Piñata in an interesting way, and to photograph or film the process. The meaning of ‘interesting’ is open to interpretation. http://www.ycnonline.com/projects_pinata.php Photography: Leon Chew

Re-Bag: Packaging manufacturer Progress approached 15 leading design practitioners to create a design to be printed on reusable canvas bags with a theme of sustainability. All bags are screenprinted white on to dark grey canvas (440mm X 387mm) and are produced in a limited edition of 250 of each design. Bags will be available to buy from the show – which runs until 11th October at the SEA Gallery and online at www.blanka.co.uk – where you can view all the designs.

UK Jack OK!: A showcase of British-centred creativity, which opened at Parisian boutique Colette and then travelled to Dover Street Market in London and Isetan in Tokyo.

As one of a handful of selected design agencies, Odd was commissioned to design a Thomas Goode fine bona china teapot, cup and saucer. The limited edition set was on sale for the duration of the show in March 2006 and the motif also featured in other show collateral.
